Minted Iced Tea

Yields: 2 Quarts

Ingredients

  • 1  quart  hot boiled water
  • 14 cup  tea leaves
  • 5  sprigs mint, bruised with a spoon
  • 1  quart cold water

Directions

  1. Remove the boiling water from heat add tea leaves and the mint.
  2. let stand uncovered for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour 1 quart cold water into a 2 quart picher, Strain the mint tea mixture into the cold water in the pitcher.
  4. Do not refrigerate.
  5. When you want to serve pour over ice into frosted glasses and decorate with a sprig of mint.
