Mincemeat Apple Pie

This came from a booklet I picked up when I bought some apples.

Serves: 8

Yields: 1 pie

Ingredients

  • 2  unbaked pie crusts
  • 2  cups  mincemeat
  • 2  cups apples, peeled, sliced

Directions

  1. Make or buy a double pie crust.
  2. Line plate with crust. Pour mixture into crust.
  3. Top with the other crust. Make slits in top crust.
  4. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F for 30 minutes.
