Ingredients
LARGE LOAF
- 1 1⁄8 cups water
- 1⁄3 cup molasses
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup yellow cornmeal
- 3 1⁄2 cups bread flour
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons yeast
MEDIUM LOAF
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 teaspoons yeast
Directions
- Put the ingredients in your bread machine according to directions.
- Basic cycle; light crust; loaf size.
- Check it while it is kneading to make sure it is the right consistency; if it is dry add a few drops of water slowly till it is right and if too wet, add a tad of flour slowly.
- Cool on rack.
