Milky Way Wonder Cake

Ingredients

• 9  ounces  Milky Way bars
• 1  cup butter
• 2  cups granulated sugar
• 4  eggs
• 2 1⁄2 cups  sifted flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 1⁄4 cups buttermilk
• 1  teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1  cup pecans or 1  cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

1. Melt Milky Way bars and 1/2 cup butter in saucepan over low heat.
2. Cream remaining butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
4. Add flour and soda alternating with buttermilk; stir until smooth.
5. Add melted candy; mix well.
6. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
7. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 80 minutes or until done.
