Mikey's Citrus Marinade

A great marinade for chicken or pork, both of which love citrus. This is a good base that I use and it's good for the oven. grill, or my favorite, my smoker. Show more

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Prep your meat as you like it. I use boneless country style pork ribs , chicken breast, or boneless chicken thighs. Meat on the bone works well also.
  3. Put the meat in a sealable container or bag, add marinade and refrigerate for at least 12 hours, 24 is better.
  4. The meat is now ready for your BBQ, smoker, oven or what ever way you choose. If using a slow cooker or dutch oven just add a bit of the marinade to the pot. It makes a wonderful tangy gravy!
