Mikey's Citrus Marinade

Yields: 8 cups
Ingredients
- 2 cups orange juice
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 2 cups Italian salad dressing (your favorite)
- 1 large red onion
- 6 garlic cloves, chopped very fine
- 2 tablespoons parsley, dry is fine
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes, more if you like
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Prep your meat as you like it. I use boneless country style pork ribs , chicken breast, or boneless chicken thighs. Meat on the bone works well also.
- Put the meat in a sealable container or bag, add marinade and refrigerate for at least 12 hours, 24 is better.
- The meat is now ready for your BBQ, smoker, oven or what ever way you choose. If using a slow cooker or dutch oven just add a bit of the marinade to the pot. It makes a wonderful tangy gravy!
