Microwave Apple Pie Oatmeal for One

Healthier than it sounds and very tasty!

Yields: 1 Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1  apple, cored and diced (Use your favorite baking apple)
  • 12 cup rolled oats (Please don't use instant)
  • 1  cup water
  • 1  pinch salt
  • 2  tablespoons brown sugar (or to taste)
  • 1  teaspoon cinnamon, to taste

Directions

  1. Mix apple, oats, water and salt.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes. Be careful not to let oatmeal boil over.
  3. Add brown sugar and cinnamon. (I love cinnamon, so I add 2 tablespoons. Yes, tablespoons warm and yummy!) Enjoy!
