Michelle's Healthy Chili

Yields: 10-12 cups
Ingredients
- 4 cups red beans
- 16 ounces lean ground turkey
- 12 ounces beef steaks, cut in strips
- 2 cups refried black beans (seasoned)
- 4 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 1⁄3 cups frozen sweet corn
- 4 celery ribs
- 1 cup diced carrot
- 1 medium sweet potato
- 1 medium zucchini (raw)
- 1 medium sweet onion
- 1 medium raw green bell pepper
- 1 (1 ounce) packet chili seasoning mix
Directions
- *Diced vegetables- larger pieces if you don’t mind seeing the vegetables, smaller cuts if you want to hide the vegetables (from children & husbands) Everything will taste like chili when it is done.
- Put all into crock pot and cook on low for 4-8 hours.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream or top with shredded cheese.
