Mexican Tszatziki

A modification of Greek Tszatziki with a Mexican touch of cilantro, chili powder and a little heat. Great as a cool side dish. I used Toni Gifford's Chili Powder. Show more

Directions

  1. Blot excess water from the chopped cucumbers.
  2. Combine cucumbers, onions and cilantro in a medium bowl.
  3. Fold in the sour cream.
  4. Add the chili powder, sugar and mix gently.
  5. Chill for at least an hour.
  6. Garnish with a cilantro sprig or cucumber slice.
  7. NOTE: Cooking time is chilling time.
