Mexican Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices white bread, torn into small pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 1 egg yolk, beaten, with white reserved
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg white, beaten from the reserved egg white
- 1 cup corn flakes, crushed
- oil, for browning
- 1 (10 3/4ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup water
Directions
- Combine ground beef, bread, onion, milk, egg yolk, salt, and pepper and form into balls.
- Roll balls in egg white and then in crumbs.
- Brown in hot oiled skillet and then place in a slow cooker.
- Combine soup, pepper, and water, and pour over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low 8 hours, or on low for 3-4 hours.
