Mexican Juicy Meat Fricassee

A quick and tasty everyday hash. Eliminate jalapenos if you're not a picante lover.

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs  tenderized flat  minute steaks, chopped
  • 1  lb smoked bacon, diced
  • 1 (220 g) can  pickled jalapeno peppers, rajas with carrots
  • 1 -2  tablespoon  chopped cilantro (to your preference)
  • 13-12 cup  of finely chopped onion
  •  water
  • 1  teaspoon chicken bouillon powder, to taste (or slightly more)

Directions

  1. Fry bacon-- set apart.
  2. In remaining bacon grease, stir-fry chopped steak.
  3. Process pickled jalapeños strips and carrots in blender.
  4. Mix fried bacon and steak.
  5. Add the jalapeño mixture.
  6. Put everything in a 1 qt capacity cooking pan.
  7. Add water to reach almost top of pan.
  8. Season with powdered chicken bouillon.
  9. Simmer until liquid is consumed.
