Mexican Dip
Ready In: 15 mins
Serves: 6-10
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 2 -4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (I use mild)
- 2 (1 1/4ounce) packages taco seasoning
- 1 -2 lb ground beef
- tortilla chips (I prefer Scoops for this)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Brown hamburger, add 1 pack of taco seasoning and 1-2 tablespoons of water (you can follow the directions on the pack if you wish). Set aside to cool slightly.
- Mix cream cheese, sour cream and 1 pack of taco seasoning. I prefer to use my Kitchen Aid mixer so I can just let it go while I'm making the hamburger. It will become nice and fluffy as it mixes.
- Spread cream cheese mix in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
- Pour hamburger evenly over cream cheese mix.
- Put cheddar cheese over everything until it's completely covered. I like it really cheesy!
- Place in the oven for about 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
