Mennonite Spaghetti Sauce (From Barbados)

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 4 medium onions, diced
- 8 green peppers, diced
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 2 quarts crushed tomatoes (32 oz, 4 small cans)
- 1⁄2 cup grated cheese
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1⁄2 cup celery
Directions
- Sauté celery, onions, and peppers in oil until tender, about 10 minutes. Add ground beef, and stir to crumble. Don't wait for the beef to be completely cooked, just cook it long enough to scramble the meat.
- Add remaining ingredients, and simmer for 2 hours.
- Serve warm over spaghetti noodles.
