Ingredients
- 2 lbs carrots, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 3 stalks celery & leaves, finely diced
- 1 small onion, finely minced
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 3⁄4 cup dry vermouth
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat for about 20 to 25 minutes or just barely tender.
