Meat-Za Loaf

I've never been a big meat loaf fan, so I recently decided to experiment by creating my own recipe. Hmmmm? What does everybody like? Pizza, of course. Yields: 2 loaves

Ingredients

  • 2  cups  italian croutons, crushed
  • 2 (10 3/4ounce) cans  tomato soup
  • 2  teaspoons oregano
  • 2  teaspoons  peppery mustard, Grill Creations
  • 2  tablespoons  mixed Italian herbs, Grill Creations
  • 2  tablespoons  dehydrated onion
  • 2  teaspoons  minced garlic, ready to use
  • 2  eggs, beaten
  • 1  lb ground beef
  • 1  lb pork sausage
  • 1  lb ground turkey
  • 6  slices bacon

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine first 8 ingredients and mix well. Add beef, sausage, and turkey. Work mixture by hand until it is well-blended. Shape into 2 loaves and place in loaf pans. Top with bacon strips. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 1 1/4 hours. Check middle for doneness, and let stand for about 10 minutes before slicing.
