Meat & Potato Bake

A good home-cooked meal without a lot of prep time.

Ingredients

  • 4  medium potatoes, peeled,thinly sliced (about 4 cups)
  • 12 cup  steak sauce, divided
  • 2  lbs ground beef
  • 1  cup  seasoned dry bread crumb
  • 23 cup  chopped onion
  • 1  cup  shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F Place potatoes in bottom of lightly greased 9-inch square baking pan; set aside.
  2. Reserve 1/4 cup of steak sauce.
  3. Mix remaining 1/4 cup steak sauce with meat, bread crumbs and onion in large bowl.
  4. Spread evenly over potatoes, pressing firmly to form solid layer.
  5. Brush with reserved steak sauce.
  6. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until meat mixture is cooked through.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese; continue baking 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
