Ingredients
- 1 gallon cabbage (chopped)
- 1⁄2 gallon tomatoes (green, chopped)
- 3 quarts onions (chopped)
- 3 bell peppers (green, chopped)
- 3 bell peppers (red, chopped)
- 4 tablespoons mustard seeds
- 4 tablespoons ginger (ground)
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 gallon vinegar
- 4 lbs sugar (white)
Directions
- Mix sugar with vinegar and bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add spices and remaining ingredients.
- Boil 20-30 minutes (until vegetables are tender).
- Seal in sterile glass jars.
- Makes 7-8 quarts or 16 pints.
