Marshmallow Creme Fudge

A classic from my mom. Originally from Nestle's package.

Ingredients

• 12  ounces  nestle's chocolate chips
• 10  ounces marshmallow creme
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 2⁄3 cup evaporated milk
• 1⁄4 cup margarine
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup  nuts, chopped
• 1  teaspoon vanilla

Directions

1. Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar, 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 1/4 cup margarine and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Bring to a FULL BOIL over medium high heat stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Remove from heat and add Nestle's morsels and 1 teaspoon vanilla stir until melted, add 1 jar marshmallow cream, . Stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Pour into greased 9" pan. Chill until firm.
