  1. In a glass bowl layer the shrimp, sliced onions, and bay leaves until the bowl is nearly full. Make the marinade by blending together all of the ingredients until well-mixed. Pour the marinade over the ingredients in the bowl, cover, and refrigerate overnight before serving.
