Marinated Blue Cheese Onions

Ingredients

  • 4  ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 14 cup  salad oil (not olive oil)
  • 2  tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2  teaspoons sugar (or to taste)
  •  salt and pepper
  • 2  large onions, sliced and seperated into rings (extra-large)

Directions

  1. Mix/whisk the oil, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper together.
  2. Mix in the blue cheese to combine.
  3. Add in the onions; mix/coat well to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 6 or more hours.
