Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, washed (more if preferred)
- 20 fresh basil leaves, washed and cut (more if preferred)
- 1 (425 g) can whole tomatoes, crushed with hands
- 4 shrimp, cut (optional but preferred) (optional)
- 50 g chicken breasts, cut (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet or pan.
- Saute' the garlic when the oil is ready.
- If using chicken, put it when the garlic turns golden. Stir well.
- Add the shrimps when the chicken cooks.
- Add the parsley and basil leaves.
- Season the dish with fish sauce.
- Add the tomatoes.
- Turn the heat to low. Let it simmer.
- Season the dish with fish sauce.
- Add the grated cheese. Stir well.
- Allow to simmer under low heat for 5-10 minutes.
- Adjust the taste with salt and pepper.
