Ingredients
- 2 cups diced onions
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 garlic cloves, diced small
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1⁄2 cup red wine
- 28 ounces tomato sauce
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 lb pasta
Directions
- Saute onions. When soft, add garlic and spices and cook another 30 seconds. Add red wine and cook until alcohol smell clears the air. Add tomato paste and cook a few minutes. Add tomatoes, diced and sauce. Bake for 3-4 hours 250 to 275 deg oven for 5 hours. Stir in 1/4 Cup parmesan cheese while hot.
