Ingredients
- 4 pita breads
- 2 teaspoons garlic-infused olive oil
- 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
- 1 -2 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1⁄2 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1⁄4 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced
Directions
- Place pita bread on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Brush pitas with oil and pesto sauce and sprinkle with garlic.
- Top them with 1 cup cheese, tomatoes, onion and remaining cheese; sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 1012 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Top with basil before serving.
