Marbled Eggs

Yields: 2 loaves

Ingredients

  • 6  eggs, uncooked
  • 3  tablespoons  green food coloring

Directions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan.
  2. Cover with cold water.
  3. Bring to a rapid boil.
  4. Cover and let sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Drain water.
  6. Let eggs cool for about 30 minutes.
  7. Don't peel the eggs but gently roll the eggs on the counter until they are cracked all over.
  8. Place eggs back into the saucepan.
  9. Cover with water and green food colouring.
  10. Stir gently.
  11. Bring water to a boil.
  12. Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
  13. Let eggs cool in the coloured water for 2-3 hours.
  14. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  15. Peel and enjoy.
