- Cream sugar and oil together.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
- Add liquid alternately with the flour.
- Add the salt, baking powder, and vanilla.
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Pour all but ¼ of the batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Add cocoa to remaining batter.
- Then pour into white mixture and cut with knife a few times.
- Do not stir.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
