Maple Walnut Banana Bread

Clearly we’re a little nutty, so our recipe takes the classic banana bread and throws in a little kreation. By adding Maple Sea Salt Walnuts, this bread takes on a new flavor, gaining a little bit of extra sweetness and the crunch factor that will be a hit with your own den of squirrelly friends and family.   1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease a loaf pan. Spray and butter both work.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly using a fork of mixer.
  4. Slowly add the ripe bananas, eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  5. In a different bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Stir dry mixture into the wet mixture, slowly integrating the buttermilk at the same time.
  7. Add the Nut Kreations Maple Sea Salt Walnuts and mix well.
  8. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan.
  9. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
