Maple Syrup Flapjacks

Ingredients
- 7 ounces butter, plus butter for greasing
- 4 ounces maple syrup
- 5 ounces light brown sugar
- 10 1⁄2 ounces porridge oats
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F
- Grease and line a 10 x 6 x 1.5in tin with baking parchment.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the syrup and sugar, then simmer until the sugar has almost dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats.
- Spoon into the prepared tin and bake for 25 minutes.
- Cool and mark into 16 squares.
- Turn out and cool completely before cutting into the squares.
