Maple Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops (I use lean, boneless pork chops)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1⁄3 cup maple syrup (use real maple syrup only)
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 limes (optional)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Combine oil, maple syrup, garlic, thyme, and juice and grated peel from limes; add pork chops.
- Marinate pork chops for 1 hour or more in fridge.
- Drain pork chops, reserving marinade.
- In a large skillet, brown pork chops on both sides.
- Reduce heat; cover and continue cooking 5 minutes.
- Add marinade and cook 2-3 minutes longer.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
