Maple Icing

The Horn of the Moon by Ginny Callan - This is best made ahead of time to allow to cool completely.

Yields: 1 1/2 cups

Directions

  1. Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into a saucepan and cook on low heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened, about 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Cool and refrigerate at least 15 minutes, then put onto cake.
