Maple Cream Brownie Dessert

Ingredients

  • Brownie

  • 1 (19 7/8ounce) package  Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
  • 14 cup water
  • 12 cup  vegetable oil
  • 2  eggs
  • 1  teaspoon  maple extract
  • 14 cup  chocolate syrup
  • Maple Cream Frosting

  • 2  cups  frozen whipped topping (thawed)
  • 2  teaspoons  maple extract

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Grease bottom only of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with shortening.
  3. Make brownie mix as directed on package, using water, oil and eggs and adding 1 teaspoon maple extract.
  4. Spread batter in pan.
  5. Bake as directed.
  6. Cool completely in pan on wire rack, about 1 hour.
  7. Meanwhile, mix all Maple Cream Frosting ingredients until well blended; refrigerate.
  8. Spread frosting over cooled brownies.
  9. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
  10. Cut dessert into 4 rows by 3 rows.
  11. Sprinkle each serving with chopped candy, if desired; drizzle with syrup.
  12. Store covered in refrigerator.
