Maple Bourbon Turkey Glaze

This recipe was featured in Parade's SimplyDelicious November 2005. It has been tried and true season after season as well as a little here and a little there in between. Enjoy! We do!

• Yields: 2 1/4 cups

Ingredients

• 1  cup Bourbon (Wild Turkey or Jim Beam)
• 2⁄3 cup pure maple syrup
• 2⁄3 cup ketchup
• 1⁄3 cup soy sauce
• 2  tablespoons fresh ginger, finely minced
• 2  tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed

Directions

1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate, covered, overnight. Brush the glaze over the turkey during the last 15 minutes of roasting @ 5 minute intervals.
