Manx Potato and Treacle Pudding

Ingredients
- 250 g mashed potatoes
- 125 g flour
- 90 g butter
- 60 g breadcrumbs, fresh
- 1⁄4 cup treacle
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, butter and baking soda. Mix in the potatoes and syrup and a little milk.
- Pour into a greased pudding basin, cover with greaseproof paper and steam for 3 hours.
- Serve with cream or thin custard.
