Mammy's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 (14 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup sugar
- salt
Directions
- Place ground beef, tomato sauce, and ketchup in saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook until meat is done (cooking it in the tomato sauce makes it thin).
- Add chili powder, sugar, and salt. I usually taste along the way -- you may need to add more salt or sugar.
- Simmer 30 minutes or longer. The longer it simmers the better it is.
- Serve with spaghetti noodles and shredded cheddar cheese, if desired.
