Mama's Meatloaf

Yields: 2 meatloaves
Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 (16 ounce) container Jimmy Dean sausage (I prefer sage)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup saltine crackers, crushed
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
- liberal sprinkle mixed Italian herbs (I probably use at least 2 tablespoons)
Directions
- Mix together all ingredients with your hands.
- Shape mixture into two loaves.
- Grease two 5x9" baking pans and place loaves in pans.
- Bake at 350 for 1 to 1 and 1/4 hours.
