Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

A staple in my Thanksgiving recipe box! Making the mashed potatoes the day before gives me the ability to spend more time with my family and guests on Thanksgiving day! And a lot less pots and pans are needed on the big day. Show more

  1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender. Drain, return to cooking pot and add the rest of the ingredients. Mash to desired consistency. Put in crockpot and refrigerate overnight. Cook on low 4-5 hours or until heated through.
