Make-A-Mix Tropic Macaroons

Ingredients

• For Cookie Mix

• 1  cup flour
• 1⁄3 cup sugar
• 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄8 teaspoon baking soda
• 3⁄8 cup vegetable shortening

• Additional Ingredients

• 2  egg yolks
• 1 (8 1/2ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
• 1 1⁄4 cups  shredded coconut
•  maraschino cherry, for garnish

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F Lightly grease baking sheets.
2. In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups cookie mix, egg yolks, pineapple, and coconut. Stir until well blended.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Top with maraschino cherries.
4. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
