Maid-Rite (Loose Meat)

I was born and raised in Marshallton Iowa. And there is noting like a Taylors Maid-Rite. You are not going to get any closer to the TRUE recipe than this. Since the original owners have changed, so has the recipe. The Creator of the maid-rite was a butcher, so you know he is not going to use JUST HAMBURGER. The meat has to be ground FINELY. small little morsels. You DO NOT use ketchup on these sandwiches. It changes the flavor of the meat. You leave yourself out of the true taste if you do. Give this a try, You will not regret it. :) Show more
