Magic Chocolate Chip Bars

Yet another variation for "magic bars" this one is from Paula Dean

Serves: 18

Yields: 1 9x13 pan

Ingredients

  • 1  lb  refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1  cup  semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1  cup  butterscotch chips
  • 1  cup  toffee pieces
  • 1  cup  chopped pecans
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Lightly spray a 9x13 inch pan with Pam (she called for a 10x15, but I wanted mine thicker).
  3. Lightly flour your hands then press the thawed cookie dough into bottom of pan, completely covering the pan.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with all of the chips and bits and nuts.
  6. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top.
  7. Return to oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
