Maggie's Bacon Spaghetti

Ingredients
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 lb pasta (traditionally it was spaghetti, but elbows are fine)
- black pepper
Directions
- Dice the bacon. Saute the bacon in a med hot pan till well rendered and a little crispy. Drain, reserving the fat.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain.
- Combine warm bacon & pasta in large bowl. Sprinkle liberally with black pepper - use a heavy hand! Add some of the melted bacon fat, stirring well, till the pasta looks shiny but not slimy.
- Serve hot.
