- 8 ounces macaroni
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 4 ounces Velveeta cheese
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese
Directions
- Boil the noodles according to the manufacturers directions. In the meantime,.
- Make a roux from the butter and flour.
- Add the mustard, pepper, garlic salt, and cayenne.
- Add the milk and heat until bubbly.
- Take off the heat. Slowly stir in the cheeses.
- When the cheese is incorporated, stir the cheese mixture into the noodles.
