Luscious Lemon Cake

This recipe comes from Kraft Food & Family. DH and his co-workers all gave it two thumbs up. It can be served warm or cold.

• Yields: 1 Cake

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) box  yellow cake mix
• 3  eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 1⁄3 cup  oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 1 1⁄3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
• 2  cups  cold milk
• 1 1⁄4 cups water
• 2 (3 1/2ounce) boxes instant lemon pudding mix
• 1⁄3 cup granulated sugar
• 2  tablespoons powdered sugar

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350*.
2. Prepare cake as directed on box.
3. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch pan.
4. Set aside.
5. Beat milk, water, pudding and granulated sugar with wire wisk for 2 minutes.
6. Pour over batter.
7. Place pan on foil to catch any drips.
8. Bake 55 minute to 1 hour, until toothpick comes out clean.
9. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
11. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
