Low Sugar Baked Custard

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄4 cups skim milk
- 1⁄4 cup Splenda granular or 1⁄4 cup caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons light maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup
Directions
- Beat the eggs.
- Add milk, splenda and vanilla and mix well.
- Mix syrups together and place 1 Tbsp in the bottom of 4 ramekins or oven-proof cups.
- Pour custard mixture gently into each ramekin.
- Place the ramekins in a pan and fill the pan with boiling water to within 2 cm of the top of each ramekin.
- Bake at 180 degrees C for 35-50 minutes.
