Ingredients
- 3 1⁄2 lbs roast
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 3 tomatoes, quartered
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves
Directions
- Rub seasonings into the roast and chill 30 minutes.
- Puree tomatoes, onions and garlic in processor.
- Place roast and pureed sauce in a large pot and simmer 1-1/2 hours.
- Turn roast and simmer an additional 1-1/2 hours.
- Slice and serve with sauce.
