Louisiana Pecan Pie

I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from The Spice Cookbook a few years ago.

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Combine together eggs, dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, light corn syrup, melted butter, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Blend in chopped pecans with flour and stir into the mixture.
  4. Turn into a 9-inch unbaked pie crust.
  5. Top with pecan halves.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until baked.
  7. Remove from oven and cool.
  8. When ready to serve top with whipped cream.
