Lotta Nog Eggnog
Ready In: 2 hrs
Serves: 10-12
Yields: 10-12 glasses
Ingredients
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 12 eggs
- 2 quarts cream
- 4 -8 cups your favorite alcohol (liquor, liquer or mixture)
- nutmeg, if desired (optional)
Directions
- Separate eggs.
- Beat egg yolks & sugar until thoroughly mixed.
- Slowly add 2 cups of your alcohol preference to egg-sugar mixture until mixed.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour.
- Add cream.
- Add remaining alcohol mixture to taste.
- Let chill.
- Before serving beat eggs whites until soft peaks form and fold into eggnog (or you can beat whites immediately after adding remaining alcohol & add to eggnog and let chill, but this will make it very thick).
- Sprinkle nutmeg over eggnog if desired.
