Loosemeat Pie

I threw this together for something different one day. It has become a favorite meal for my family. The crust is simple and delicious, the filling moist and creamy. Makes a meal all by itself. Great for any get-together.

• Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

• Crust

• 3  cups flour
• 4 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1 1⁄2 cups water
• 6  tablespoons sugar
• 3  tablespoons mayonnaise

• Filling

• 1  lb hamburger
• 8  ounces Velveeta cheese
• 1  teaspoon onion powder
• 1  teaspoon garlic powder
• 1  teaspoon  italian seasoning
• 1  tablespoon flour

Directions

1. Preheat oven 375.
2. Prepare crust.
3. Combine dry ingredients.
4. Add water and mayonnaise. Mix well.
5. Spread half mixture in bottom of greased 9x11 cake pan.
6. Set aside.
7. Prepare filling.
8. Brown hamburger, drain all but 2 TBLS of grease.
9. Add seasonings.
10. Add 1 TBLS flour.
11. Place mixture on crust by spooning onto top. Carefully spread evenly.
12. Top with remaining crust mix by dropping spoonfuls on top.
13. Bake 25 - 30 mins until light golden brown.
