Loaded Baked Tater Tot Casserole

This was originally a recipe for hashbrown casserole I received at church. I made it so many times, that I forgot some of the ingredients and added some of my own. Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 16  ounces  frozen tater tots, thawed
  • 1 (10 ounce) can  cream of chicken soup
  • 12 cup bacon bits
  • 2  cups  shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1  cup  crushed  corn flakes
  • 12 cup  melted butter
  • 2  tablespoons  minced onions

Directions

  1. Cut each tater tot in half.
  2. In large mixing bowl, combine tots, soup, onion, bacon, and 1 cup cheese.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Spread in a 9 x 13" baking pan.
  5. Cover with remaining cup cheese, then cornflakes, then pour butter evenly over all.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
