LLL Baking Mix Biscuits

This is from the La Leche League International Cookbook. When I am in a rush I just cut them into squares so I don't have to roll them out more than once. When the mood hits I will use whatever cookie cutters strike my fancy...my daughters love when I do that. I enjoy experimenting with adding different herbs, spices and spice mixes. Here's how I got my daughters to eat salmon salad sandwiches (once thought to be an impossible task!). I added Lemon Mrs. Dash and dry dill to the biscuit mix, then cut them out with an angel cookie cutter. I filled the cooked biscuits with a salmon and mayonnaise mixture and called them "Flying Pink Angel Sandwiches". They are now a favourite! Show more
