Liverless Rumaki

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts (whole in water)
- 1⁄2 lb bacon (sliced)
- 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup chili sauce (Heinz)
- 60 wooden toothpicks (they are going into the oven)
Directions
- Drain and rinse water chestnuts.
- Dry water chestnuts on paper towel.
- Cut water chestnuts in half.
- Cut bacon strips into thirds.
- Wrap water chestnut piece in a cut bacon strip.
- Insert wooden toothpick thru bacon wrapped water chestnut; place in glass baking dish.
- Sauce:.
- In a dish, mix brown sugar, mayo and chili sauce, together until smooth.
- Pour mixed ingredients over bacon wrapped water chestnuts.
- Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Serve hot.
- Extra sauce can be mixed and used per personal choice.
