Lethal Brownies

This recipe can be halved and baked in a 8x8x2" pan.

• Yields: 48 brownies

Ingredients

• 1  cup plain flour
• 1  teaspoon baking powder
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 6  ounces  unsweetened chocolate
• 2⁄3 cup unsalted butter
• 2  cups sugar
• 4  eggs
• 2  teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 1⁄2 cups  chopped  nuts

Directions

1. Thoroughly mix the flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a covered bowl in a microwave.
3. Stir in the sugar.
4. Stir in the eggs, vanilla, then the flour mixture, and then the nuts.
5. Turn into a sprayed 13”x9”x2" pan.
6. Bake in a preheated 350°F degree oven for 25 minutes or until a finger pressed lightly on surface leaves a slight indentation.
7. Cool in pan on rack.
8. Cut into 48 bars.
