Lemony Flank Steak

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs flank steaks
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1⁄2 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons fresh oregano
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Place meat in plastic bag. For marinade, combine remaining ingredients and add to bag.
- Let stand in the refrigerator 2-24 hours. Drain meat, reserving marinade.
- Preheat broiler. Place meat on broiler pan. Broil for 15-18 minutes, turning and brushing with the marinade half way through cooking.
- Thinly slice on the diagonal before serving.
